Puppies and Losers

I spent the morning at the pediatrician with Alex. He woke up with a fever, he was dizzy and refused to eat. I set him up on the couch and then when Keith woke up and I told him about the fever....he bolted out of bed and insisted we rush him to the doctor.

He was worried that he had internal injuries from his fall on Saturday. The good news is....he's not injured. He told the doctor that his elbow and knee hurt a little bit but that he feels good other wise.

He just has another virus. I think this is the 5th illness to strike our home since January.

Tuesday, we went to the mall and I shot this little video. The kids want a pet so badly!

Today is my brother in law Robert's 39th Birthday. Mallory and I were looking for a card for him the other day and I found the perfect one. However, it was $6 and I was also afraid his fragile ego would be wounded.

  1. Too funny.
I am so glad Alex is OK. I totally would have rushed him to the doctor too. I don't think that you can be too careful when it comes to possible head injuries.

  2. So glad Alex is okay. Tell Mallory she can come and clean up my dog's poop anytime!! :)

  3. careful momma - someone might read something into this.....

  4. Some people in my family. (ahem) aren't smart enough to figure out how to comment on this blog....much less read it.

  5. (I LOVE THAT CARD! #Winning!)

Just remember puppies = poop. Lots of poop. I try to remember that every time they make googley eyes at me.

  6. That puppy is freaking adorable.
That card is hilarious and I would SO buy that for ANYONE in my family...except I'm too cheap to pay 6 bucks for a card.
Hope your BIL has a great bday!!

  7. That puppy *does* need an owner. I think you need to have a talk with Keith about it ;)

So glad Alex is okay, but you poor thing, y'all have been sick nonstop. Hope everyone feels better {and stays better!} soon :)

  8. I'm glad everything is alright with Alex. I know it sucks, but be glad he is sick now and hope by the fall he is over it.

  9. Alex's fall was the first thing I thought of when I heard he was sick... Glad everything worked out OK, sort-of, sorry he has another virus.
That card is adorable... I would definitely get that for lots of people in my family.

I love you. You are my best friend! Your hair looks fantastic today!
