Honey Badger Does Care

about his cuticles.

A couple updates:

*I escaped from my family on Saturday and discovered a great coffee shop with a cute owner

*I'm getting an upgrade to my cable package AND a DVR tomorrow.

*The same day I found out that I couldn't have DirecTV I got a notice that my lease was up soon.  I thought it was a sign that I was supposed to move but my budget has other ideas so I'm not moving.  This news spun me into a depression that only time with my friend Denise could cure. *see first bullet point*

*I missed this month's PTA meeting because iKeith didn't come home on time.  My stuff doesn't matter.

*After watching an episode of Private Practice, I've decided to become a surrogate to the gays.  I'm really good at being pregnant and the hours are great.  Then maybe my husband will shut up about me getting a job.

*I got together with my Kindergarten mom's last night for a P(minus T) A Meeting and it was so much fun! We did a toast to Obama for making sure that I didn't miss any of my Tuesday night shows.

*I have a meeting with my son's teachers next week.  He's not keeping up with the rest of the class and I'm scared.

*I registered Mallory for Kindergarten yesterday.  There are 204 days until school starts.

*There are 98 days until my beach trip to California.

*I need more coffee.

  1. I think you would make a really awesome surrogate, but you realize you have to give them the baby, right? That would be the hardest part.

  2. Thanks Jennifer! I'm not going to use MY eggs.

  3. Sounds like a fun night out! Definitely sounds like a day for more coffee.

  4. sounds like a good night out! and honey badger is just a caring kind of animal ;)

  5. Congrats on the cable upgrade! You're going to love your DVR. I can't remember what TV was like with commercials.

So, I'm wondering how much a surrogate actually makes? I watch Private Practice, too, and that one lady treated it like a business. Maybe there are big bucks in baby-hosting?

  6. Whoa - so much happening, kind of stressful stuff. HANG IN THERE!

  7. You will wonder what you ever did without that DVR!! Congrats.

You have a LOT going on right now. -- no stressing allowed! You seem to be pretty active in your kids lives so no blaming yourself. Got it!!???

  8. I'm sad for you that you can't move. I know you REALLY wanna.
Don't be scared about your son's meeting...if it was that bad they'd have you come in earlier I'm sure.

  9. I always thought being a surrogate would be cool. Just scared of my attachment issues...
Don't be scared about your son, maybe there's a crush on someone in his class, or his teacher.... just a distraction!
I wish I was going to a beach in Cali!

    need more coffee too!

  10. Sorry you can't move- but yes, I bet the surrogate gig could get you some money! But oh your bladder- you might become a bit more like Shawn :). I hope the meeting ends up going well and you figure out some good solutions.

  11. You have lots to think about, huh!!! ;P How old is your son? Maybe you should have him tested for no other reason than to put your mind at ease. It could strictly be developmental and nothing to worry about.

  12. I expect a monthly meetup at the sexy vest coffee shop, especially because I can HAVE coffee now. And the beach, jealous. I need some beach in my life.

  13. I would love to be a surrogate, definitely not my eggs though!

Bummer you don't get to move but I'm sure the longer you wait the bettet place you'll be able to get when you do move.

I'm sure all is ok with your son, all will work itself out. If it was really bad they would prob want tho see you right away.

Yay for California, you are going tho have such a great time! I'm going to Florida next month tho visit my sister. It will be my first trip without my kids.... Can you hear the harps playing lovely music? I can. I just bought 2 new paid of suppah cute heels. Can't wait, can't wait!

    Mmmm Coffee!!!

I love you. You are my best friend! Your hair looks fantastic today!
