The One About The Markers

Describe the last thing that made you laugh really hard.

iKeith has been working late...testing a new app that he's working on.. Monday nights, I watch The Bachelor and take notes for my Tuesday morning blog post.

Usually...iKeith is home to take over and I'm able to hear half of what's going on in the show because of the rough housing and laughter that occurs when Daddy gets home. Daddy tells the kids that Mommy is working. Love that man!

I desperately need a TV in the bedroom so I can work in peace.

So...I was working (ahem) and the kids were playing nicely in their rooms (i thought).  Daddy comes home and tries to go greet the kids.  The door is locked.  He yells at them to open the door this instant or else....and when he does.  We find this.

Please notice the great attention to detail on the nipples and belly button.  There is more attention to detail but it's under the hearts.  When I was editing this picture...Alex said, 'Oh look Mommy...I have a heart on'!

Yes you do honey.  Yes you do.

I wonder how Kate Gosselin would have handled this?  I laughed my @ss off!

But not in front of the children....

  13. I would not have been as strong as you. I would have laughed in front of them.

Hayden actually did a similar thing when the triplets where babies. He colored them. I have no idea why but he did.

  14. I truly love this. I have a few tattoo with pen incidents, but nothing that ever went that far. Oh and for Kate, you know she doesn't allow markers in the house right?

  15. The good news....the markers are washable.

The bad news....I threw them all away. They can get markers again when they are 18.

    A heart on?

    Really!

    I'm dying!!!!

It's like the windless kite day I spent with the 5th graders...if I heard "I can't get it up one more time"...

  17. Wow, I think they make markers with more juice in them than when I was little! Hha. This is hilarious. It was washable marker, right . . . .? :D

  18. Awesome. Save those pictures for future boyfriends/girlfriends. And they have definitely lost marker privileges!

  19. Stopping by from Mama Kat's!
The 'heart on' thing would've sent me into hysterics. Seriously, kudos for being able to keep a Sterm Mom face. As the mom of a crazy, 1-year-old, I suppose I should start preparing for this kind of stuff :)

  21. OHEMGEE!! This is HILARIOUS! So, now you're the mommy to a couple of smurfs! Exactly how long did it take to clean them up and are they still stained?

I'm taking notes from you on what NOT to do while watching the Bachelor. So thank you for that.

I wonder who will be taking notes from my lack of parenting skills? Sometimes they are non-existant.

  22. I'm with Jen. I would have laughed at them too. And then probably made them stay like that.
