When Play Imitates Life....

Today, Mallory's little family moved out of their beautiful, spacious, multi-level dollhouse and into a cardboard box.

Alex helped them move with his truck.

Gosh this scenario sounds familiar.

  1. And look, Ken is all kicked back on the top of his truck trying to look all macho undoubtedly trying to impress Barbie! It really is real life unfolded right in front of your eyes!

  2. Pretty high ceilings on that box... not much of a view, though.

  11. I love it! And I love that she's playing with a box. :)

If you wanted to, you could get all metaphorical and think about how whatever we live in is still just a box if we don't have our family with us...
But that would be too deep for a post that mentions Barbie & Ken.

  13. Yeah. It sucks when kids throw stuff like that back at you without even meaning too. I'll never forget the time Baby Girl was talking to her dolls and said, "not now, Mommy has to go to work." Ugh.
