I Ninnished!

See this girl? She is a miracle. An unexpected surprise and our true love child. When you are in her presence, you can't help but smile and feel LOVE. She is sweet and loving, playful and funny and so incredibly smart! Her Daddy is smitten with her!

Mallory is not your average almost 2 year old. She doesn't play very much. She prefers to read or draw or just sit on your lap and do whatever you are doing. She loves her babies (she is the mother of twins) that she sleeps with and her books. She does seem slightly interested in the new toys she got which we spent much time deciding on....she is a complicated girl!

Mallory loves to talk and we laugh at/with her all the time. She loves to eat and when she is done she announces I Ninnished. Her Nana brought her dog to our house and I loved hearing her follow him around saying 'Hi Pup' in her singsong little voice. Lately she is rejecting her nickname of MOO and tells us her name is Moema. Oh my, and she is picking out her own clothes...I foresee some challenges from this one!

But my favorite...in all of the world is when she gives out kissies. I just love her kisses!

Mallory would like to thank everyone that sent her presents. She loves the clothes (that's my girl) and unfortunately....she hates the Cabbage Patch Doll (Sorry Bobbi). She would also like to send a shout out to her Uncle Mandrew (this is what Eckie calls him) for feeding her many of her meals. She turned him into her servant while he was here!

*******

I am excited to announce that in THREE DAYS...my sister and I are launching a new blog! It is called Girls That Shop! Bobbi and I love everything about shopping so we decided that we needed a place to follow our passion! We will be posting about clothes, make up, shoes, handbags, clothes, leg warmers and anything else cool that we find! Join us for our Grand Opening on Thursday because we have a prize to give away!

  1. I just added myself to follow your new blog. I have considered a "book related" one myself. It is something I would like to maybe do with someone else like you are doing

I just got sidetracked....your Mallory....sounds a lot like my Mallory....wonder if it is the name or just that they are the babies....mine demands that I "go sit down" so she can sit in my lap. Drives me nuts but I know there will come a day when she wont want any part of it.

  4. Sounds like Mallory is a joy.

I am now following your "Girls That Shop" blog. I wish my sister and I could do something cool like that, but my sister is a slacker and it would just be me involved.

  6. ok i kinda hate it when people offer unsolicited advice, but this worked with my daughter, so i'm going to toss it out here anyway.

let her wear whatever she wants when you are going to be at home (and you don't care what she looks like anyway).

when you ARE going somewhere and you want her to look cute and NOT homeless, let her CHOOSE between TWO (not three. that is too many choices) outfits. this way you both win.

  8. Your little girl is just so squeezable! I want to reach into the screen and *tink*...hmmmm...*tink* *tink*. OK so I can't pinch her cute little cheeks, but I can tell you how adorable I think she is! :)

Can't wait to see your new blog. Perhaps I will learn a thing or two about fashion...I am fashionably retarded!
