  3. You crack me up! Glad we can still be friends...we have completely different views but that does not make me heart you any less. In fact it intrigues me!

I am glad you speak your mind, I wish more women had the balls to.

And you and Mallory would kick ass on toddlers and tiaras, that show is a hoot.

  4. You seem to have a good perspective on the situation. And we're even more alike than I thought! Good for you for speaking up. ;) Praying everything turns out well for your family.

  5. Thanks everyone!

    Beth...I love you!

Post has been up an hour and I've lost two followers. Any guesses how many more I'll lose for being open and honest?

I guess I don't need to be friends with those people anyway....

  6. Okay, I know this isn't a laughing matter, but you crack me up, girl! LOVE the bit about Obama being in the movie, HA! And fancy shmancy new theme song. Thought I know it'll work out in the end. Love ya ♥

  7. Great post! I'm on your side and love Glen Beck and Sarah Palin! I'm so sorry that the program has been canceled. I'm so glad, though, that you've decided to not stress about it. I'm sure it is hard NOT to stress about it, but...the best is yet to come for you, Connie!

  10. Here's my secret... I'm a card carrying Democrat. I hate Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. If I ever see Bill O'Reilly I might punch him in the mouth. I think Fox is to news what soap operas are to reality.

But here is the other thing. I DON'T blame Bush for everything. But I don't think Obama has destroyed this country in one short year either.

But I do still love you and I appreciate everyone else's opinions. I think listening and being open is the only way we learn. Besides that, I live in TX. The home of conservativitism (if that's a word). If I couldn't be flexible I would have to move, and that is NOT going to happen.

Oh, and one more thing. I think if we could all find a way to meet in the middle then a whole lot more people would be happy. Extremism is for the birds.

  12. I disagree with your politics (I think Sarah Palin is a twit and bad for humanity, let alone politics) but I don't think I'd unfollow just because you stated openly what your political beliefs are. That's totally your right, and even though I disagree, it doesn't make me like your blog any less. The Connie Diaries make my day when they're posted. And I think we can come together on a mutual love of Jen Lancaster books.

Just a little note though -- feminism, at least in its original form, isn't anti-male. It isn't all man hating and bra burning. At its core, feminism is about choice. Being a SAHM doesn't make you anti-feminist, because you've made a choice that suits you best: the choice to stay home with your children. And that's what feminism is really all about, Charlie Brown.

  16. Glad you are back on track...everything will work out. At least that's what I tell myself when then things are looking bleak. And things usually work out!

  17. You know I totally got your back with the political views, Baby! Glad you are stepping back to breathe through this trying time. Remember, it's times like these that our faith is built... xoxo!

  18. I love that you are taking such a positive approach Connie! I am praying that things work out and it all turns out even better than before. Although I will be so sad if you move out of Utah. It is so fun to see you once in a while!

    Keep Calm and Carry On!

    ((hugs))
