Yes Mallory, there is a Santa Claus

If you're reading this....I had drinks with friends last night in Denver!

See this girl. Doesn't she look like a Who From Whoville? Little Mally Lou Who.

Calvin tried to watch Merry Madagascar with her the other night and it didn't go well.  I won't spoil the show if you haven't seen it but there were lots of questions and Daddy got frustrated and deleted the show off from the DVR.

Here are the questions I heard from the kitchen...and Calvin's answers.

What are those?  Animals.
Who's that guy? Santa.
Why's he doing that? Doing what?  Driving a sleigh?
Who's that guy? Santa.
What are those? Reindeer?
Why's he doing that? He hit his head.
Why?
What are those? Presents
Who's that guy? Santa!
What's he doing?

You see Mallory, on Christmas....SANTA delivers presents to ALL of the boys and girls in the world.

Why?  BECAUSE HE DOES!

We're taking her (and Alex too) to meet Santa this afternoon at the Cherry Creek Mall. I'm sure she'll have lots of questions for him....

  3. My mom watched this with the kids at her house. I haven't seen it. I keep trying to get Bud to say Ho, Ho, Ho, but he just looks at me like I've lost my mind, points to the tree and says/shouts, "BALL!!!!!" Fun times.

  4. Lol about the Who pic, yes she does. I always tell my husband that our baby looks like a Dr Seuss character when he wakes up with sticking out hair in his sleep sack.

We watched the Madagascar movie but I didn't pay attention. My older boy loved it, though.

  8. OMG- Of course, I always love reading to my children for all the reasons one is supposed to love it, but it is SO HARD to read to Piper b/c she asks so many questions! "Is that the mom? Who's that? Is that the boy? Where's the dad? Is that the dad? Is that the boy? Who's that?" And on. And on. And on.

  9. She is just too cute :) I hope the visit with Santa went well. We had to cancel ours today because Z is really sick :( We are going to have to postpone it until after Thanksgiving and that always makes me nervous...I don't like the lines :)

    Enjoy Denver!!

  15. OMG...That picture is PRICELESS!!!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!

Madaline is in the Why? stage...and it is driving us bonkers! And, if she doesn't get the answer she wants, then she goes "Why NOT?". Seems like we both have our hands full..
