I Did Something Right

Calvin got home late last night. We got around 4 inches of snow during the day and his commute home was long....and then he had to snow blow the drive way. The kids were anxious for Daddy to finish his work and come inside. They watched him from the window and didn't want to eat dinner....they were excited about something.

As soon as Daddy had his coat off, they dragged him downstairs.

And then they played 'school' with him. Alex brought him the bucket of GREEN items and showed him each toy and said GREEN (and Mallory said BLUE) and then they had him play music and they read a book and they cooked.

Calvin forgot to tell me that this happened until I was headed to bed. I then drifted off to sleep with a tear in my eye and a swollen heart.

I did something right!
