Feathering my Nest

A few months ago...on our 2 year anniversary in Utah, I finally put some pictures on the wall. In preparation for getting my house ready for the holidays I bought some vinyl clings made by a local Etsy store called Sticky Graffiti. I just love them and they make me so happy.

The Best Things in Life are Not Things.

This one is supposed to be for Christmas but I think I could leave it up year round...don't you think?

Peace Love Joy

I am going to have her make a custom cling for me with my favorite quote on it.

The days are long, but the years are short!

I found a great Link Up that I want to participate in for the holidays. It is the Christmas Tour of Homes 2008! Here's what you do...post pictures of your decorations and traditions and also a favorite holiday recipe on your blog on December 15th....then go to Boo Mama's blog and link to your post. It will be so fun to see everyone's decorations and I'm always looking for new traditions and recipes. Join me in the fun!

  1. I don't think I've ever mentioned that I never knew who said, "The days are long, but the years are short," until I saw it on your blog. I grew up hearing my Mamaw say it all the time, and when I was home with two babies (born close together) and was exhausted, my Mamaw would remind me of this. I too LOVE that quote.

  7. I fell in love with those word cling things at a friends house a few years ago. There's a company in my home town that makes custom ones as well and I keep meaning to get some of my favorite quotes done for the kids' walls.
