Printing and Updates

Raising Z and Lil' C tagged me for this fun handwriting activity.  I love to write and have numerous notebooks all over the house.  I'm not a fan of cursive writing and I can barely sign my name.

Here's the rules:
Write down the following, snap a pic and post it.

1. Name/ Blog Name
2. Right handed, left handed or both
3. Favorite letters to write
4. Least favorite letters to write
5. Write: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
6. Write in caps:
CRAB
HUMOR
KALEIDOSCOPE
PAJAMAS
GAZILLION
7. Favorite song lyrics
8. Tag 7 people
9. Any special note or drawing

A couple updates:

Dentist: Tomorrow...I get to have a root canal that I had done 7 years ago, redone. As I recall....when I had this root canal done...I was a poor single receptionist and I had to make payments on the bill. I'm beyond irritated. THEN...I need to have three impacted (and one regular) Wisdom Teeth pulled. The dentist was concerned about my age....and said that the older you are when you have them pulled the more traumatic it is. Traumatic? Really? That sounds GREAT. He expects I'll be recovering for a week! AND THEN...I get to finally have two crowns replaced. I guess I know where my tax refund...well, actually Calvin's tax refund is going.  Also, he thinks maybe my lip problem could be because of my wisdom teeth.

Calvin's Job Opportunity: Yesterday, he had a meeting with a guy in Denver and showed him what he's been working on for the last two months. The guy originally gave him 15 minutes to present but ended up spending 1.5 hours with him. He wants Calvin to meet with some high ups...in Salt Lake City.

  1. Your dentist sure makes it sound a little scary...traumatic?

  2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for y'all.

If I had written that you wouldn't be able to read it.

  4. I like your handwriting. I love to write, always have. I don't even know what to say about the dental work. I hate going to the dentist. Root canal AND wisdom teeth? Poor thing. I had my wisodm teeth out when Sierra was a baby and I can't say I enjoyed it much. The first couple of days weren't bad at all. Then I got those dry sockets or whatever. Not pretty. You're in my prayers, girl. And yay for Calvin! I'll be praying about that too.

  5. Thanks for playing, you have such neat handwriting. I had to relearn cursive when I started teaching 3rd grade :) I hate the dentist and I am so sorry you have to go through all of that. I had one wisdom tooth out a few years ago and he said last time that the others will have to come out too :( Why didn't they do it all at once???? Can you bring your ipod??? that always relaxes me.

I am so excited for Calvin! S is going to be spending the next few months working on something too...keep your fingers crossed.

  7. You have to have a root canal redone????? Not by the same guy I hope. Do you actually have to pay for it again? Don't those things have warranties? Man, I don't envy you and all your teeth right about now.

  8. Dentist make me cringe. I'll be thinking of you.

You write like an Architect... or other in the construction industry. I should know... I spent years in that field.

  9. I like your handwriting! I tend to write quickly and my penmanship is usually pretty sloppy (in my opinion).

Some potentially great news about Calvin's work!!

Hope your mouth is feeling okay after your root canal!
