Coming to a theater near you.....

Star Wars Episode I....The Phantom Menace!
Alex got his first Star Wars shirt the other day.
We were in Target and iKeith decided that Alex needed a new shirt so he was walking around the kids section looking at all of these silly shirts with cartoon characters on them. I *hate* shirts with characters on them (except for Hello Kitty) and I generally skip them.
iKeith just about peed his pants when he spotted the Star Wars shirt. He was giddy with excitement and kept going on and on about his FIRST SHIRT.
Whatev.
Then....later that same day, I was looking at movie trailers on Apple TV and I saw that Star Wars is coming back to the big screen in 3D. Then I got a little bit excited.
I know that I must have seen a couple of these movies when I was a kid but I remember ZERO about them.
Now I'm excited to experience them with my son!
And I think maybe I need my first Star Wars t-shirt.
Are you a Star Wars fan? Will you go see the movie in 3D?
I've seen all of the Star Wars movies multiple times. Mostly because David loves them. I don't think they're bad, but I don't know if I would go so far as to call myself a fan.
ReplyDeletelike the shirt! that's funny because I am soooo not a Star Wars/Star Trek kind of person :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, you definitely need a shirt to match! :) I've never seen the movies, and probably won't go to see them. Only because I don't ever go to a theater. Seriously, I'm pretty sure Jeremy and I have gone to the theater twice since we got married . . . almost ten years ago.
ReplyDeleteI love the t-shirt! Every little kid needs a cartoon character shirt!
ReplyDeleteI have only seen ONE Star Wars movie. And it was for a boy. I thought it was a huge sacrifice. I just can't seem to get into it.
Ahh, yes...welcome to the world of Star Wars, mama.
ReplyDeletePretty soon it will be Star Wars LEGO.
I am a fan but not going to see 3d or do I own a tee shirt. I do own the video of 1st 3. Not sure if we have the last 3 or not.
ReplyDeleteMy hub is not big into 3d. I think it causes him a certain amount of motion sickness and then there's the glasses. HE HATES THEM! I just put them on over my glasses and go with it. Why does everything have to be a big baby fit?? UGH!!
I can get past the toonish shirts but cannot handle the shoes... someone got my son a pair of buzz light year shoes for his birthday a while back and thank GOD they fell apart quickly.
ReplyDeleteI liked Star Wars when I was dating a guy who liked it.. immature eh? I was in highschool.. what can I say.
I'm sensing a family outfit theme... Can't wait for the Star Wars shirt holiday card photo (I know you wouldn't really do that! But it would be funny...)
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking you guys need to go to one of those conventions!
i grew up on that shit! i love it. i'll definitely be seeing it. i'm not a fan of hello kitty. sorry. hope we can still be friends. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am a Star Wars fan! How cute!!! I love this post. DId you know you can get the Star Wars pancake molds and other stuff dirt cheap right now @ WIlliams-Sonoma?

I have only seen the original 3...not sure I want to see the prequel stuff. Z is now playing "Star Wars" because the kids at school do but I think the movies would scare the crap out of him. He is scared of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer! I told him we'd wait but have been giving him a Stars Wars Education so that he can hang at school :)
ReplyDeleteThe Gap has a pretty cool old school Star Wars shirt. Love to buy my kids things that remind me of my own childhood - so fun that we get to share with them!
ReplyDeleteHUGE Star Wars fan!! But 3D..no thanks.

I remember when my youngest got his first Star Wars shirt, he was SO excited. He still gets one every year at Christmas (he will be 21 in February). He has every movie in the saga and I know he will be going to the 3D showing, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteAlex looks adorable in his shirt.
