I had to go see it as soon as humanly possible because *people* are spoiling it on twitter.
Although....now that I think about it....if you have read the books, you are already spoiled.
I HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS.
EDITED: As of 8pm Sunday night....I am reading Breaking Dawn.
I don't want to read them and I think it makes the movies more enjoyable to NOT read them and to actually be surprised when stuff happens.
Here are a few of my questions from watching the movie: *possible spoiler alert*
Why isn't Belle smiling when she is walking down the isle to Edward?
Why does Rosalie look like a dude?
Why doesn't Edward sparkle anymore?
Why do the Cullen's, who have so much to hide from the world, live in a glass house?
Why didn't Charlie track Bella down like he promised?
What food did they serve at the Vampire Wedding?
Do I have to become a vampire to get Bella's hair color?
Why did they have to ruin Bloody Marys for me?
Why do I have this uncontrollable urge to buy the soundtrack to this movie? Especially this song.
Can Edward get any sexier?
Why am I still crying?
Where can I get a Pocket Charlie Doll?
Why did they have to scare me like that? (Bella dying)
Does Jacob get to live in the Cullen's house with them now? On a doggy bed?
I thought it was really funny that the first song I heard on the way home from the movie was Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees! HA!
Have you seen the movie? Did you cry? Are you going to see it again?
I really hope when Mystery Science Theater 3000 is resurrected in the future, they cover the Twilight series. LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't Belle smiling when she is walking down the isle to Edward? - She's nervous that she's going to fall down and hates all of the attention or something. I dunno, it explains in the book.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Rosalie look like a dude? -She has a penis. Not really, they just have shitty makeup/hair people on set.
Why doesn't Edward sparkle anymore?-Still trying to figure this out. Sparklegate 2011.
Why do the Cullen's, who have so much to hide from the world, live in a glass house? - It's the only place they can be themselves and they probably like to see if a deer walks by so they can run out and get'em!
Why didn't Charlie track Bella down like he promised? - he needed to trim his mustache first. Also, you'll see in the 2nd movie.
What food did they serve at the Vampire Wedding? - Blood cake. Or something.
Do I have to become a vampire to get Bella's hair color? - I believe so.
Why did they have to ruin Bloody Marys for me? - Wouldn't that be funny if the blood bag actually said "Mary" on it?
Why do I have this uncontrollable urge to buy the soundtrack to this movie? Especially this song. - The soundtrack rocks. Get it ASAP. But not at Walmart because someone who worked there said it hadn't come out yet. Dumb.
Can Edward get any sexier? - If he took of his clothes, maybe. He's especially hot at the honeymoon in his boxers.
Why am I still crying? - I've been asking myself this too!
Where can I get a Pocket Charlie Doll? - Same question! I need one ASAP.
Why did they have to scare me like that? (Bella dying) - Because they're assholes. I read the book and STILL cried. Twice.
Does Jacob get to live in the Cullen's house with them now? On a doggy bed? Haha I think one of the cut scenes had this. Damn you cut scenes! *shakes fist*
I posted all the answers and my phone said I can't leave a comment! WTF?!?! It took me forever! I'll come back from my laptop later. I'm at the in laws.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm not sure Kristen Stewart knows how to smile.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. She's supposed to be the most beautiful of them all.
I didn't even notice.
Because they have to hide everywhere else. It is why they own private islands and live in the middle of the woods.
Because she convinced him not to.
No idea.
I bet you could rock that hair color.
Good one.
Now I'm sad I didn't notice the soundtrack.
Yes.
Unknown. I didn't cry. Readying or watching.
Why do you want a pocket Charlie doll?
It explained it better in the book with the venom coursing through her and how much pain she was in and what she was thinking.
Nope.
How is it possible that you haven't read the books yet???? The books are SOOOO good! The movies don't compare at all. I haven't seen Breaking Dawn yet. Waiting until I can drive two hours to go see it w/ my best friend. :o) I seriously cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteAnd my mind is blown that you haven't read the books but are enjoying the movies!! BLOWN! :o)
I just got back from watching the movie.
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVED it.
This is the first one of the movies that I have seen. I didn't want to see the movies b/c the books were that good but this movie did a really good job.
And that song is fabulous. I need to have it.
Also, please now read the books.
You're cracking me up!
ReplyDelete*Bella isn't smiling because she doesn't like being the star of the show and she's a typical nervous bride.
*IDK about Rosalie, she freaked me out a little too!
*He sparkled a time or two during the honeymoon!
*They live in an enchanted forest, no one dare enter unless accompanied by a Cullen.
*Charlie wasn't able to track Bella down because he had had a few too many beers at the wedding.
* I think I saw Blood oranges on the table.
* Nah, thats Redken Shades 6NB
* It's all good, Bloody Marys are nasty anyway.
* I need the soundtrack too, so many great songs!
* Edward could be sexier if he had Jacobs body!
* IDK, I never shed a tear.
* IDK byt when you find one let me know I think I'd like one!
* Read the freaking books and you wouldn't be afraid!
* Yeah, but they spare no expense, it's a really cool bed!
Here's a question for you...why did the wolves have to almost ruin it for me and have a complete conversation using their best Transformer voices?
I haven't seen it yet so I am not sure where it ends, I am hoping they saved at least one surprise for the next installment. I don't think Bella smiles much in general. I hope to go in the next couple weeks....
ReplyDeleteI just don't get the whole Twilight thing. vampires, really? not my thing.
ReplyDelete:) You really should read the books. They're generally SO much better than the movies! Although they aren't that great either - honestly, I'm not sure why I love them so much :) I can't wait to see it again - although I'm going to take a potty break during the wolf 'conversation' - ugh - some things just don't translate to film well and this is one of them.
ReplyDeleteI downloaded Breaking Dawn to my iPad an hour and a half ago.
ReplyDeleteWell now that I'm finally on my laptop, people have already answered! DAMN IT! My answers were better.
ReplyDeleteBut I will say, the wolf scenes didn't bother me that bad. A lot of people hated that part but how else could they transfer that from book to movie? It was a huge part in the book.
How did you get BD on your ipad already?
I haven't seen it yet - not really a priority.... But I did like the books and I think I liked this last one best -
ReplyDeleteDid you read the Hunger Games??? YOU MUST READ THI SBOOK BEFORE THE MOVIE COMES OUT IN MARCH!! :))
~Becca
I'm not sure I want to see the movies, but I do want to read the books!
ReplyDeletehaven't seen it
ReplyDeletehaven't read it
but yeah, I am sure I would cry. I cried at Marmaduke.
Yes.
The movie about the dog.
I didn't want to read the whole thing for spoiler alerts ya know...but I read the first one. Bella never ever ever smiles I swear to God she's the most ridiculous leading lady ever!
ReplyDeleteIt will likely be two years before I get to see this movie, so I went ahead and read the spoilers! :o) (We always wait for them to come on TV. I can't stand loud movie theaters and people kicking my seat...)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh so much has happened since I last saw a Twilight movie! I have only seen the first and second one! So I guess Bella and Edward get married?? I really need to read the books. I can do that without someone throwing popcorn into my seat.
I'm still waiting on JK to leave her comment. Go bug her on the twitter.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it yet....can't wait. I LOVED that book and that montage with the song was pretty hot ;)
