A couple days ago, I added a tab on my blog for my lists. I love lists because they are an excellent way to keep track of things. I have a bad memory lately so lists have become an important way of remembering what I don't want forgotten. I also believe in making lists of things you want and sending that information into the universe. Sometimes, what you put out there...shows up on your doorstep!
This is a short version of my bucket list. I also have a Foodie Bucket List on The Rookie Foodie.
Connie's Bucket List
- Own a house
- Have a garden big enough to plant white pumpkins
- Take my kids to Harry Potter World
- Lay on a beach
- Have a walk on role on The Young and The Restless
- Go on a cruise
- Eat my way through Portland
- Be PTA President
- Meet my best internet friends for a weekend trip
- See a broadway musical ON Broadway
- Sail a boat
- Visit London
- Walk into a Coach store and buy anything I want
- Go on a Caffeine Crawl
- Learn to knit
Learn to knit! You could do that one right away! You can take lessons at Micheals or a yarn shop. Or you could teach yourself - there are tons of videos on youTube. It only takes a minute to learn! You can do it!
ReplyDeleteThat weekend trip sounds awesome, that's on my list too! I have met so many awesome blogger friends, but I can't wait to meet them in real life.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter World looks like so much fun. Aren't you dying to taste butter beer?
Blogher'12 in NYC! Then you can check off several of your items!
ReplyDeleteOf course, personally, I don't subscribe to the Bucket List philosophy. I don't like the idea of crossing things off that just get you one step closer to death!
oooh I'd love a garden with white pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteGreat bucket list!
ReplyDeleteI want to met my bloggy friends too!
If you come to Portland, I would help you eat your way through it! :D
*And on my way to HPW, a stop at IA's house for some fun with her and JK.* --should be added STAT.
ReplyDeleteSo, tell me about a caffeine crawl? Is it like a 5K but on your hands and knees?
"Walk into a Coach store and buy anything I want" - I'm with you on this one!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list, and with all lists they're a good reminder to stay focus and remind us what's important (in this case, living life!).
I love your bucket list. You so belong on Y & R. I'm going to email them.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea there was such things as white pumpkins.. what would you do with them?
ReplyDeletei'd love to meet my bloggy pals.... that's fun and I'd LOVE to go to NY!
I love your list!!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I are planning a cruise for next Oct. She is starting school and will not be free until then. That gives us time to save up. You are more than welcome to come along with... the more the merrier! And we can check that off the list!
very cool list! What is a caffeine crawl? Sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree- start learning to knit now. Maybe you will get so good at it and make awesome amazing things that you can sell to help cross off some of the others :)
ReplyDeleteI wanna do those things too!
ReplyDeleteDo you mean Portland, OR??? COME!!! We'll do it together for SURE!!!!!
I had no idea there was a Harry Potter world OR a Caffeine Crawl...learn something new everyday.

Portland, like as in Portland, OREGON??? If so, I'm gonna come eat with you!!! I'll take you for some of the best martinis too! :)
ReplyDeleteooo! ooo! I think I will be in PDX from 12/1 - 12/6 or there about... maybe you could meet me there (with MiMi and Myya) and we can eat our way through 1/4 of PDX...
ReplyDeleteI love meeting bloggy friends.
ReplyDeleteI think your list is great, on my list would be to buy any type of Louis Vuitton. =)
Awesome list, my friend. You would make a Kick Butt PTA President! :D
ReplyDeletexoxoxoxo,
Ricki Jill
Let me know when you get to Portland! I'll meet you there and I LOVE to eat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list :) I've was PTA co-president when I taught. It would be so much more fun to be president as a parent, not teacher. Besides my co-president parent was a B&$#@. You would be great.
